HISTORY
Established as The Whalley Glass Company in 1945 the company began as a retail shop in New Haven Connecticut. In 1970 it was purchased by Salvatore Vece who always believed that hard work and strong family ties make for good business. He led his family into the business one by one until almost the entire family including in laws, and grandchildren made up the team. The goal was and still is today, a simple but honest one, to provide our customers with quality service and glass products at a fair and competitive price.
Within a short time the business expanded and added a wholesale distributorship in Derby, Connecticut known as Curved Glass Distributors. Eventually other divisions became necessary in order to better serve our customer base. U.S. Glass in Enfield Connecticut became part of the company to make this happen.
Today as the Curved Glass Group, we are a leader in the distribution of Auto replacement glass, Coach and Transit replacement glass and are a full line distributor of Architectural and Fabricated glass products. With all of these facilities in daily operation the Curved Glass Group is ready and able to service all of your glass needs in a timely fashion and at prices that will make a difference in your bottom line.
